Last night was the annual "Walk-A-Thon" fundraiser for Emma's elementary school, so of course we went and had a great time, Em played all kinds of games, got to go on the bouncy slide, walked with her classmates ("kindergarten ROCKS!" as she said) and munches on hot dogs and cheetos. Matt and I were joking that we don't remember our schools ever having something THAT cool when we were younger. Man, the kids get everything these days!
All smiles when we first got there and she was all registered for the walk...
I tried getting a couple pics of her walking with her classmates, but as you can imagine, trying to snap a bunch of screaming, dancing and running five-year-olds leaves much to be desired! (Em is the red-head right behind the banner, of course)
There was a silent auction and we got Em a BIG surprise - she gets to go see "High School Musical 3" with her teacher on Friday! She was already all too excited about going to see the movie anyway - we already got tickets and were planning to take her on Friday - but now she is REALLY excited about going with Ms. Coppedge, who she absolutely adores.
