We May Have a Future Sumo Wrestler

Katie had her six-month checkup this past Thursday and weighed in at 19 pounds even! As Dr. Cotlar said, they don't say a kid is "off the charts, so we'll put her at 95%!" (She is in the 75% for height) The funny thing is, she doesn't overeat and we're not giving her more than the average 6-month-old should be eating at this point; she's just a beefy gal at this point! She eats about 30-35 oz. of formula every day (and sometimes not even that much) and eats oatmeal and fruit for breakfast and oatmeal and veggies for dinner. She is very healthy.

Em continues to do well in kindergarten - she is reading and writing very well and is a sponge when it comes to learning the daily lessons - although she seems to have adopted the notion that rules do NOT apply to her, and as been a bit sassy these last few weeks. Let's just say that she is challenging patience these days.

Last weekend we went to J.T. and Laura's SuperBowl party and spent time with many friends from CHPH.
