It's spring in Texas and already getting hot - this past weekend it was already up in the low-90's and will only get hotter from here on out. On Mother's Day we took the girls over to Grandpop Barry and Nana's house in the afternoon and Katie got into the pool for the very first time. She loves baths and always has, but a pool is a whole other adventure and we weren't quite sure how she would react. Boy, did she have a BALL! She sat on the shelf of the top step and loved playing with the bubbly-thingee (I have no idea what the technical term is), splashing in the water, laughing with Emma and of course, eating the duckies.

The little one also figured out how to pull herself up and stand on her own in the Pack-n-Play (or "Baby Jail," as we affectionately refer to it) over the weekend and thinks she's all that AND a bag of chips.
