Happy Birthday Katie!!

We are now officially a family of four after welcoming Kathryn "Katie" Olivia last Friday, August 1, in Houston. She was born at 9:53am weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz. and was 18.5 inches long. We came home from th hospital on Sunday afternoon and so far so good, although an adjustment for everyone. Em is settling into her big sister role and well, Matt and I are tag-teaming the newborn.

Katie is such a good baby - she eats and sleeps well and is not all that fussy (except when she wants a bottle or is uncovered). She actually looks a bit like Em did, too, with her round face and cheeks. She has Matt's mouth and chin, along with long toes and fingers, and almond-shaped eyes like me. Of course, at this point it's hard to tell who they will look like!

We took a bunch of pics but they are still in the cameras - will get to those soon and post them up as soon as we can. Below are a few Nana Kathi (Matt's mom) took right after Matt brought Katie out of the OR on the way to the nursery.
